Zero waste has long been a passion of ours, and is becoming more important to so many other people that we know. Saving the planet has become a bit of a cliche, but what we really mean is saving ourselves and the creatures that we share our planet with. The planet will do just fine if we do nothing about the mess we humans have created, but we won't do fine. Far from it.
We have been 'doing our bit' in our own minimal way. We try to minimise single use plastics as much as possible, but it can be a really hard thing to do. Sometimes it seems impossible to find the products we need without also doing some kind of harm. That's where the zero-waste movement steps in.
Designing and developing products that do less harm to our environment has come on in leaps and bounds in recent years, but access to these products can be difficult unless you happen to live next door to a zero-waste shop! Personally, we've found it hard to regularly shop in this way, because whilst the move to using more sustainable products is growing, it is still sparse at best.
So we decided to set up Waste Free Pantry... our contribution to growing this movement. We want our friends and family to embrace a better way of living, and Waste Free Pantry is the solution we've come up with. And we want YOU to be a part of it too.
